Every time i mow my lawn on a riding lawn mower I hallucinate. When I shut the engine off and retire for the day I hallucinate like crazy for about 30 seconds to a minute then it settles down but can last up to five. However it isn't only when I turn the engine off it's when I get off to dump grass clippings. This never happens when I use any other appliance that uses gasoline and I am not a psychedelic drug user so why does this happen? My only explanation could be the fumes of gasoline or that when moving at a constant steady pace without forward moving (walking) but actually moving causes your eyes to to weird stuff.(hard to explain) Things seem like they are stretching out and almost seem like they are moving away from me. This doesn't bother me at all, in fact it's kind of nice but I would like an explanation as to why this happens. Is this why so many people love to mow???

  1. I wish it could happen to me.  I push-mow my lawn for three hours and I'm lucky if I get delerious from early phases of heat exhaustion.  Then it's beer time to make it more fun.  LOL.

  2. Maybe you have a severe allergic reaction to grass.  Just a thought as many people are allergic to grass.

  3. Same thing happens to me after I play Guitar Hero for too long.  Let me know if you find out!

  4. Do you have a lawn service that sprays your lawn for weeds, etc?  Or do you treat your lawn with herbicides and/or insecticides?  If so, you could be having a reaction to the chemicals.

A simple solution would be to stop using chemicals on your lawn.
