Bigger news story???

Stewart KO's the USAC official? proving he has no respect for anyone else, or authority. NASCAR should step in now and not allow Stewart an ownership role because of his attitude and such. That dude is just a bomb waiting to go off!

or

Goodyear screws up royally after pulling off a 3 car test and getting NO DATA! Everyone says don't blame Goodyear, don't blame NASCAR.. THATS BULLSH!T. They all go it wrong, and they put on a horrible show! That was the worst race I've ever seen @ Indy in 20 years and I really hope NASCAR pulls out of the Brickyard race for the rest of eternity if they can't get these dang tires right!!!

  1. I love the fact that Tony is one of the FEW drivers that still has a pair....

He didn't KO anyone...he pushed an official and it wasn't even hard.

The race was long...boring...and the worst race I have ever seen.  I am glad that I wasn't attending because I'd be demanding $$$$ back.

  2. It was a horrible race and it was rigged. The only reason they

had so many cautions because of tire wear was so that the

top 12 would not blow tires and end up falling outside of the top 12. It all has to do with money and pleasing the sponsors.

If it was a real race where they didn't worry about sponsors

and money, then they would have let them race and blow

tires and not worry if their precious Dale Jr fell out of the top

    12. They would have let the dominoes fall as they fell and let

the true winner win even if it meant a field filler win like JJ Yeley or Dave Blaney etc.

  3. I didn't know Tony Stewart boxed and don't know much about it so I will say the tires. What a mess...

  4. hardly anyone knows about the USAC offical. That's been known all weekend and hardly anyone is talking about it, where as the "crappy" race if you can call it that was just run yesterday and already people are talking about it nonstop.

  5. Goodyear by far. I am so insecure about my tires on my car right now. HOnestly, Goodyear needs to step out as NASCAR's official tire. NASCAR shouldn't have to fire them: they should just quit! I've never been a Tony Stewart fan, but I think he's right when he said Hoosier, Firestone, or anyone for that mater could make a better tire than Goodyear. That was one of the worst races I've ever watched, and I've been a fan for many years. Competition yellows after the halfway point were just not needed: the tires were wearing the same, so crews should know when to come in and pit. The least they could have done was put no caution with 10 to go...no strategy was needed at all. Blame Goodyear, Blame NASCAR! I'm pretty outraged right right now, and I hope everyone that paid tons of money to go yesterday enjoyed the heat races. I sure didn't, and that will show the next time my car need new tires.

  6. Ya wanna know what I think? I think you need to take a deep breath and chill out about the whole thing. Next week's Pocono, okay? Calm down. It was a mistake and it's over. That's it. Why must there be so many questions about the same thing? Seriously. Just calm down and back away from the computer.

And Tony's awesome, so not much to say about that.

  7. No comment about Smoke, he is one of my favs, but if he did knock some out out, they probably asked for it..lol

As for the tires, Goodyear really missed the mark! What a disaster!  The Brickyard will always be tarnished from this crappy so called "tire test"

  8. May be if more drivers and owners had Stewart's passion (similar to drivers of past eras that made this a great sport)for racing NASCAR would start putting on a good show again like in it's early days.

  9. Goodyears fault for bringing the wrong tires

  10. That was a huge waste of time.  Ten or fifteen laps at a time?  How is that racing!!

  11. I blame NASCAR......they should have known that if your going to grind the track like that, the tire wear would be incredible. It happened last time they ground the track at Lowes, just not as bad.

I wouldn't even call yesterdays Brickyard a race. More of a farce!

  12. i had enough of it yesterday

  13. Goodyear  but its all NASCAR s fault  they care more about Kyle winning and there week off vacations

    Rather then SAFETY
