She starting coming to my new place . It was great. The boyfriend she lives with along with her to kids is abusive physically and emotionally, a real jerk. He forbids her to even see me, so she has to sneak around. Don't know why he feels this way. I called her cell phone he answered it. I hung up on him. The next day she called crying saying he broke her finger. I really don't him well. I know where they live. What can I do? Haven't heard from her since. Any advice that won't put her in more harms way by this creep?.

Thanks,

Marseille

  1. Even though he forbids you to see her, please try to make an effort to go over there because he may not hit her in front of you, but in the meantime, talk to someone at the police station and see if they can keep on file the abuse, just in case something worse happens, also make a journal of your own and write down everytime he has hit her, you never know when you might need it. Unfortunately, most women in abuse cases won't leave and if they do they usually go back, i know from experience, my dad was abusive to my mom for 16 years, but she finally left and has never gone back. Hopefully, your daughter will too.

  2. Why did you let her be isolated for 27 months be there every minute of the day you can to protect her and the grand babies if he hits her in front of you call the police.

  3. Abusers like to isolate their victims-she needs to ditch this creep immediately, he'll only get worse.

  4. If she wants to get away, call the police and have them investigate.  You be there when they are so that you can take her and her children with you as you leave (in case they don't throw his f***y in jail).  If she's not ready to leave and will protect him, there isn't much you can do.
