After a corn snake sheds?

i was just wandering if anything specle happens after a corn snake sheds.anything i need to look out for or anything i should know.fyi she sheded in a compleat form no left over skin.she sheded today and i just got her yesterday.she was feed the day befor i got her. however she sheded wail i was at a book store,so i hade her go though my fingers to get the skin off becase we wern't close to home,but we left as soon as we could to get her home. i t was raining a little. would this things had coused a problem?

  1. you want your snake to shed in one piece. A shed were is skin is coming off in bits and pieces or is taking days to weeks instead of hours is not a good shed, it is not something to be worried about but it might mean you need a moss box. I would not help your snake shed by going though your finger if she is not have a bad shed. If you see she is going to shed just leave her be, but check and see if she is shedding in once piece (if not then help out). When a snake is shedding they get something called eye-caps that come off with the skin, but it can make it hard for the snake to see causing them to be aggressive during the shed. Also if you pull skin off that is not ready to come you can take new skin cells with the old and that cause cause a wound.


  2. as far as i know, a complet shed is great so, i'm not sure but i do belive that it should be ok.
