  1. First, do you have any anti virus software's on your computer? first search trough your computer with your anti virus software. Then delete all virus, if your computer still is slow you have to format it

  2. Update your anti-virus, remember to only have one anti-virus installed on your PC

    Download SuperAntiSpyware

Restart your PC in safe mode, and run a full scan with both.

While in safe mode, you may also want to have a look at your start up items by using msconfig.

Be careful with the items you uncheck, you can have a look here to see if they are necessary

You should also have a look at your IE Add-ons while in safe mode.

Disable any you do not use.

After you reboot back to normal mode, download and install ccleaner to fix any registry problems and clean up old temp files.

Then run a disk clean up

    And a defrag

  3. i think it should be enough to format just your windows drive (try copying your docus and files to other drives and then format it). BUT FIRST OF ALL TRY TO FOUND THE VIRUS NAME, THEN SEARCH FOR SOLUTIONS ON THE INTERNET. IT SHOULD BE SOLVED BY SOME AVs.

  4. Reformat it

  5. if it's still slow make sure it's still not infected, also might benefit from a spyware check and a bit of a spring clean, defrag, temp files cleanup

  6. No need to format your PC. The virus probably made a mess in your registry where a slow computer is a sympton for registry errors and invalid entries. You need to use a registry cleaner to fix this. You cqan find information and reviews on registry cleaners at http://Improve-PC-Tools.com

  7. dwnload avg or avast antivirus and do a full system scan. it will detect all effects of the virus and remove evrything

  8. i am using Avast 4.8 home edition and i think the performance is quite good and take note its for free and at the same time i am also using windows defender. Let me give you a tip choosing a good antivirus for your PC because i know you really do care for your pc =)

Here's a link which serve me best choosing an antivirus http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2008...

I just did a research for myself, hope it will help you dude...

And after choosing antivirus and scanned your PC, i just want to remind you PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL removing or deleting infected files. Before you delete it ask for trusted technician because it can crash your computer, never boot again and there's no other way but to reformat your PC. And one more advice, before you delete infected files try to search in the net what is the importance or what is the function to your PC the file which is infected. If there is no other way but deleting it, you can replace it by searching the same file in some other site like DLL.com

Good Luck... Hope it will serve you best....
