I have read nothing but horrible lies about Obama on YA. He is Muslim, he's a crack head, he's the anti-Christ...and on and on. The black faced avitars and the racist avitar names....Why are Republicans so suprised when their candidates are attacked in the same manner?

Bingo.

Republicans started these tactics YEARS ago, with Rush calling Chelsea Clinton a dog. A 12-year-old child being publicly attacked and humiliated. A little girl who had never done a thing to a soul on earth.

And Newt Gingrich publishing and distributing among Republicans a booklet instructing them on which specific words to always use in reference to Democrats and liberals, which started the whole brainwashing thing about "liberal" being a dirty word.

And now they are experiencing their own tactics, and it is blowing their minds.

If you ask me both sides are as bad as each other. Why do elections have to become so personal? Surely most of these thing have no or little bearing on how good/bad a president they will be? Challenging your oponent on their policies and agendas is good and inspires debate and allows voters to make informed decisions. Name calling and attacking their families and personal lives does nothing but make the name caller look ignorant and stupid.
