  1. Maybe one of the places listed here.  Mostly scholarship links.

  2. There is several online study loan companies, Put student loans into a search engine you will get more than you can possible research. You can also contact your local school and see what kind of private loans are out there in your community. The Financial aid advisor you have should be able to help you find a private loan  pretty easy, you might need a cosigner, but it is doable. My husband has used this company with good results last year  http://www.educationfinancepartners.com/... Good luck with your studies you have picked a great field to go into.

Also you might try and see if your state has any scholorships they offer for nursing students. Missouri will actually pay some of your student loans back for you for each year that you work in a needy area. The needy areas means one that has a real nursing shortage, which is all over the world right now.

  3. Laurel - we readers out here don't know anything about your financial circumstances, so we can hardly give you the most useful advice. The people who can give you useful advice are the counselors in your school's financial aid office. They'll sit down with you, your records and your paperwork, and they 'll be able to tell you what financial aid programs you might still be eligible for.

Remember - colleges make money when good students stay in school and pay their bills. Financial aid offices will go out of their way to help good students stay in school. If there are opportunities for you, they'll know where they are.

Because nursing is such a critical need profession, there may well be special programs of financial assistance available only to nursing students - again - that's why your financial aid counselor is far and away your single best resource.

Call and make an appointment to see your counselor as soon as possible. Good luck to you!
