I am not saying do not buy fuel...just not ESSO/EXXON. I am not "buying" what they are saying about fuel stockpiles depleting etc. Look @ utube and search who killed the electric car....it may not drop gas prices but it might slow the gouging to a almost managable level. go electric,go free.

  1. but you got to remember the the people who

own the gas stations ARE NOT EMPLOYES OF THE OIL COMPANY! they do NOT GET PAID BY THEM

they are just business people trying to run a business

they still have a Pay price for the gas they get from the  OIL companies

  2. It doesn't work that way.

The price of gas is based on supply and demand. If the demand is still there, then the price of gas will still be high.

If you boycott one oil company(gas station) and do not cut the demand. You will have long lines and shortages at the other gas stations. The gas stations that you boycott would just sell their gas to the stations that you are not boycotting.

The problem is that we depend on the middle east for the oil that makes the gas.  If they wanted too. They could cut production enough to cause the price of gas in the U.S. to go to $10 or $12 a gallon or more. It would shut this country down. We depend on their oil.

It's basic economics. When the demand is down and the supply is up. The price comes down. When demand is up and the supply is down. The prices are high.

We (you and me. not the government) have to find a way to do without their oil!

  3. That's what I have been saying for some time now, if we boycott one oil company for 1 month, it will work because they will have to lower there prices to make room for the inventory coming in, Lets say company A is selling gas and company B is not, then company B will lower there price to beat company A price, then there are price wars between company A and B... Lets just say we try for June 1st for the boycott
