After closing a bank account can the bank re-open it to reverse a credit?

I relocated and closed my bank account 17 days after I moved. The bank was disputing some unauthorized charges on my account and gave me credit for those charges. After I closed the account the bank re-opened the account without my knowledge and reverse the credit charging me overdraft fees, arguing that the charges were valid according some documents provided by the seller and therefore, I had to deal with the seller directly. The bank states that they didn't know about my move which is a lie since I provided the representative with all my new contatct information when I closed the account, and he even sent the funds to my new address. I filed a complaint with BBB against the seller and it turns out that my claim was valid and I'm going to get a refund. My believe is that the bank stoped pursuing the claim since I close my account with them.
