1. a door opens up

2. we see a bright light as if no one has seen in life time

3. then we r asked that do u have apending work besides

4. then our fate is decided on wat we answer

5. it is also said that our loved ones who r also dead come to receive us

believe me in every after death experience all the above points are common

Human beings are such that it is a physical body, animated by the human spirit, and at death, one leaves the other behind.

You go to the after life (or fine matter world) and at a certain point in time (say, 150 years later on average) you do get reborn again, via reincarnation.  You don't have a memory of your former life.  And you've done this so many times before.

Your question is very simple but the answer is not that simple and its very subjective.

There are two parts to answer

1) If you ask what will happen to the body physically after death then the answer is that after a certain period of time it starts decomposing due  to that a body will begin to decompose shortly after death. We can think of two stages: In the first stage, human decomposition is limited to the production of vapors. In the second stage of human decomposition, fluidic materials form and the flesh begins to decompose. The forensic observations from the Shroud is that there was no apparent second-stage decomposition. Any fluidic products would have ravaged the cloth in short order. The results of a body decomposing would have been visible on the cloth.

2) If you ask what will happen after death means where if we believe in soul than what will happen to soul then its a very very subjective matter.

See some religion believe that death is only happen to the body and soul remains immortal and it will again take birth in any other form and the cycle will go on like this and you can also hear some time that a small child remember some thing which he didnt saw or hear in his whole life and people say its his rebirth and he rememberd the things of his previous birth. I  cant say if its true or not but its depends upon the faith and belief.

As you die, depending on how you die, your brain will start to fire off neurons and start releasing stored information in your brain, making you think that you see a light and images as you travel through the light. Until you reach the end and the light fades. Then once all the electrical energy has been released, you are dead. Your body is then taken to a morgue and you are embalmed or flamed into ashes. Your loved ones or the city bury you in a lot and that is the end.

You are now part of the Earth. Like it or not, You will never leave earth. Hopefully you will become part of the circle of life where your rotting corpse will become plant food. :)

Now if you believe what some people wrote thousands of years ago, with no formal education in science. You will be reborn and go to heaven. There you will become an angel and be all fluffy and floaty and be in the presence of the Lord. That's what people want to believe since it give them hope that there is more out there once they die.

how should we know? have you met someone who was dead and came back? (i mean a little bit longer then failing life signs in the back of an ambulance or hospital) because asking that person would be our only real way of knowing...
