Question:

After dozing off to the Klitschko-Ibragimov fight, I am wondering...?

This fight was a joke...just like most other of Klitschko's fights. Both Klitschko brothers are huge bears that just stand there with their left hands sticking out and all you see is: jab, jab, hold...every time the opponent tries to come closer, Klitschko (both of them) would grab the guy and hold on until the ref separates them. In my point of view, this is not boxing. So after dozing off to this fight, my question is: when do you think we will see a more entertaining and more explosive fighter come into the spot light? Im talking about a boxer similar to Mike Tyson...a boxer that can hit hard, move fast, and win the majority of his fights with early-round knockouts.

  1. It was a terrible fight, Ibtagimov was never in the fight and Klitchko never looked like he wanted to knock him out, just stayed behind the jab and very rarely threw his right. Cos Klitchko has such a poor chin he is reluctant to get stuck in so he just plays it safe!!

I am looking Forward to David Haye moving up to Heavyweight cos he could take both of them out! Aftr his fight next month he will move up from Cruiserweight and hopefully he could have a Heavyweight fight in the summer!

  2. even though you are 100% totally wrong about the klitschko brothers, i will entertain you with an actual answer to your question.

first off, there's already a few heavyweights out there with that devastating knockout power yadda yadda....the reason that they arent in the spotlight is that the "jab huggers" ie talanted defensive boxers cant be beat by a guy with one punch power.  i can sit and spout off recent examples all day, but i'll just give a couple....look at Lewis-Tua.  knockout power versus jabbing defense.  Tua got embarassed.  same with Lewis-Tyson.....or even more recent, look at Valuev-Lyakhovich.  giant defenders will always get the best of the small stocky punchers.

but, you did ask a question....who's out there?

Chris Arreola has quick KO power.

David Haye will be moving to heavyweight soon.

Ruslan Chagaev has been deemed "white Tyson"

Jameel Mccline can pop a whallop if he wants to.

    there's guys out there.

  3. I hate to say it ,but the only guy at the moment that can come close to Tyson is Sam Peter now and that's a far reach to say this. Bring lewis back cause ever sense he left you have alots kids pretending to be champions

  4. its their style so dont hate on them  Klitschko samey lutchey :)

  5. most of the hits he was giving sultan would have knocked most boxers out, but sultan can take a punch, watch it in slow motion, and watch the right hook he gives him in the 11th round i think. and if you complain about him not knocking out sultan, you need to look at klitschkos record. 50 wins 44 knockouts.

  6. Alot of people have been giving you alot of flakk about what you said about WK but, im going to cosign. BUT, not in its entirity. Lately, i repeat, Lately, WK has become quite the boring fighter. Even WK fans have to admit all he has done in his last 3 fights is paw with the jab. Now before, I will admit, he was a monster. Now, he seems like he doesnt want to get hit or hit.

But, to answer your initial question, history repeats itself. The Heavyweight division is going through a slump rite now BUT, so did the welterweight division before Money May came about. Now, everybody wants to be a welterweight. BUT, like I said, history repeats itself. Give it about 6-10 years and the Heavyweight will be the premier division once again.

  7. LOL I fell asleep in the middle of the 6th round.

Klitschko just swated flies, the most boring fight I have ever witnessed.
