Why do so many jump to conclusions? I personally am teetotal, the question is hypothetical.

  1. Your body will get rid of one unit of alcohol per hour. Each can will contain between 2 and 3 units, depending on the strength so you will need to allow somewhere between 24 and 36 hours before driving.

  2. it has never stopped me.

why worry lifes to short just dont run anyone or anything over

  3. Drink as much water as you can to clean your system before you go to bed.  It takes 1 hour for each beer to clear your bloodstream.  If you consumed 12 beers over a long period that will help.

Depends on your tolerance, body weight, etc.

I would not drive.  DUI's are very expensive. If your still feeling the effects in the morning, don't drive

  4. until the next AA meeting.

  5. nighty night..  i recommend u get ur full 8 hours of sleep at least. hehe..  good night

  6. when I got done for drink driving, the cop told me I couldn't drive for 12 hours.

  7. Give driving a miss today as although the alcohol will be dispersed by about 2pm, the toxins in your body will cause sluggishness for another 24 hours. Go for a nice walk, drink plenty of water and relax for the rest of the day.

  8. to be safe don`t drive today,

  9. every one is different,

i wouls say at least 10 hours and make sure you have eaten a good meal

    regards x kitti x

  10. its about 1hr to a pint beer

  11. You shouldn't even think about driving today - chances are you will be well over the legal limit until Tuesday

  12. The body processes 1 standard drink an hour, so wait 12 hours to clear all alcohol from the body.

  13. 1 hr per unit [ 1 unit 1/2 pint of beer]

It will also depend on the strength of the beer.

    So no driving today.

  14. Well it takes 1hour to get 1 unit of alcohol out of the body so if the beer is say 2 units in a can it takes 2 hours to get that out. So for twelve can at two units each it would take 24 hours to be clean of alcohol. so to be under the legal limit it would proberly take between 15 and 20 hours.

  15. Each beer takes about an hour to process fully through your body.

So I guess 12 hours from when you first started drinking.

12 dude? seriously? Where's the next party at?

  16. it takes one hour for one unit of alcohol to leave ones system, so work it out for yourself, this is the best way to calculate when its safe to drive.

  17. Depending on your tolerance, about 12 hours. The effects of Alcohol take a while to wear off even after that.

  18. WHy would you drink 12 beers.  Unless you weigh 300lb+ 4-6  beers should do it.  If you have not thrown up, after 8hrs your blood alcohol should be under the legal limit, but your hang over might still impair you for a few more hours.

You are not prettier, sexier, smarter, or cooler if you drink like an alcoholic.  When you get that drunk, you give the bad guys out there a chance to take advantage of you.

  19. It depends on many factors. If you've had at least 8 hours break and eaten a meal then you should be ok. My ex got suspended from driving the morning after a night on the booze so don't fall into the trap of thinking you'll be ok.

  20. beer takes 2 minutes to enter the blood stream and 1 hour to exit. Thats for every beer. So wait 12 hours. 13 would be better

  21. As soon as you finish the last one! lol Just kidding, just sleep it off for an hour or two and you'll be good. guaranteed
