I get really turned on but then when I ejaculate girls are the last thing on my mind. It's horrid, is this the same with s*x because if it is I don't stand a chance?

  1. Take a tip from a female, it may be ok now to feel that way, but once you start having real s*x you`re going to have to change a bit. When a girl has an o****m, it takes a while to come down from that plateau, she likes to be cuddled and held for a short time after. Men make the big mistake of rolling over and falling asleep. If you want to be a good lover, give her the extra 5 or so minutes of tender kisses and hugs before you nod off or leap out of bed.

  2. Well, I guess if you are saying DURING ejaculation you are not thinking about girls, that is different than saying AFTER ejaculation you don't think about girls. I guess you can only answer for yourself if something OTHER than girls turns you on over the entire course of wacking off. Maybe it's time to consider a bi-curious status. But you don't have to go there either, even if you are thinking in that direction. Just relax and don't worry about it. If you notice yourself having crushes on guys and checking out guys bulges and buns, then maybe you have some rethinking to do. Until then, just relax and do what you have been doing.

  3. scientific explanation.

For many women, the correlation between s*x and snoring is one of those annoying facts of life: no matter when passionate encounters occur, men always seem to fall asleep immediately afterwards. Dave Zinczenko, the author of Men, Love and s*x: The Complete User Guide For Women, explained the phenomenon to Huffington Post writer Arianna Huffington this way: “Men go to sleep because women don’t turn into a pizza.”

I doubt I am ever going to become a pizza, and I’ll never have the foresight to order one beforehand. So in lieu of a cure, a better explanation will have to do. Women, too, often feel sleepy after s*x. What is it, then, that spirals us into the land of nod? And could it actually be a good thing?

First, the obvious reasons for sex’s somnolent sway: the act frequently takes place at night, in a bed, and is, after all, physically exhausting (often more so for the man than the woman, although this certainly varies). So when s*x is over, it’s natural to feel sleepy.

Secondly, research using positron emission tomography (PET) scans has shown that activity in the amygdala, the brain area that controls fear and anxiety, decreases prior to o****m. University of Groningen doctor Gert Holstege, who led the study, told the London Times that “letting go of all fear and anxiety might be the most important thing, even necessary, to have an o****m." Doing so, of course, tends to be relaxing and might explain the tendency to snooze.

Then there is the biochemistry of the o****m itself. Research shows that during o****m, we release a cocktail of brain chemicals, including norepinephrine, serotonin, oxytocin, vasopressin, nitric oxide (NO), and the hormone prolactin. The release of prolactin is linked to the feeling of sexual satisfaction, and it also mediates the “recovery time” that men are well aware of—the time a guy must wait before “giving it another go.” Studies have also shown that men deficient in prolactin have faster recovery times.

Prolactin levels are also naturally higher during sleep, suggesting a link between the two. It's possible that the hormone’s release during o****m leads to drowsiness.

(Side note: prolactin also explains why we are sleepier after intercourse than after masturbation. For unknown reasons, intercourse orgasms release four times more prolactin than masturbatory orgasms, according to a recent study in the Journal of Biological Psychology.)

Oxytocin and vasopressin, two other chemicals released during o****m, are also associated with sleep. Their release frequently accompanies that of melatonin, the primary hormone that regulates our body clocks. Oxytocin is also thought to reduce stress levels, which again could lead to relaxation and sleepiness.

What about the evolutionary reasons for post-s*x sleepiness? This is trickier to explain, and no one really knows. Evolutionarily speaking, a man’s primary goal is to produce as many offspring as possible, and sleeping doesn’t exactly help in his quest. But perhaps since he cannot immediately run off with another woman anyway—d**n that recovery time!—re-energizing himself via sleep may be the best use of his time.

And women often fall asleep with the men anyway (or use it for some key cuddling time), which could aid with conception (you know, gravity and all that). And when the two wake up naked together, they just might be ready to go again.

It’s also possible that sleepiness is just a “side effect” associated with a more evolutionarily important reason for the release of oxytocin and vasopressin. In addition to being associated with sleep, both chemicals are also intimately involved in what is called “pair bonding,” the social attachment human mates commonly share. The release of these brain chemicals during o****m heightens feelings of bonding and trust between sexual partners, which may partially explain the link between s*x and emotional attachment. This bond is favorable should the couple have a baby, as cooperative child rearing maximizes the young one’s chances for survival.

The bottom line is this: there are many potential biochemical and evolutionary reasons for post-s*x sleepiness, some direct and some indirect—but no one has yet pinpointed the exact causes. One thing, however, is certain: we all better get used to it, because it doesn’t look likely to change anytime soon.

I will leave you frustrated American women with one final thought: if you are upset at the ubiquity of the post-s*x snoring phenomenon in your men, remember that things could be a lot worse. A recent survey of 10,000 English men revealed that 48 percent actually fall asleep during s*x.

    Talk about coitus interruptus!

    lolllllzz

  4. LOL, yeah, this is the same for almost all of us.  It's amazing how intense we feel about them before ejaculation and then we do a 180 emotionally afterwards.  That's why we prefer to just go to sleep when we're done.  Don't worry, you're like all the rest of us.

  5. it's normal you'll learn after intercourse the woman wants to talk and the man thinks for god's sake shut up and let me sleep

  6. Thats totaly normal man i think most guys are the same, with me after i ejaculate i feel satisfied but it only takes about 10 minutes and i feel horny again

  7. If you work at I think you can change your perception and reaction. It may have to be something that you work on very hard. You may want to try role playing with a gal pal. Not actually doing the do, but acting it out and how you would or should behave afterward. Get a lot of feed back from female friends on what they like to do after the do. Good luck.

  8. God help us girls.

  9. It's normal if the girl is just a body to f****.  If you really love the girl, you'll still feel affection for her even after you have an o****m and ejaculate.  That's kind of the telltale sign between lust and love.

  10. Once you ejaculate, all the built up testosterone etc. is lost, so your s*x drive will diminish temporarily, it differs from person 2 person, but thats normal for most people lol

  11. Ye your definetly g*y

  12. yeah its normal when i have s*x with my gf after i usually want her to go home and i want to play video games

  13. thats completely normal

  14. If this wern't true guys would want s*x over and over and over.

    and over

    and over and over

    and over

and over and over and over

    and over

    and over and over

    and over

and over and over and over and over and over........

  15. Yep.  It's about the same for everyone.  The trick is to learn to blow your load and then to roll over, hold your girl in your arms, and just enjoy the scene and the feeling.

  16. Yes, this is normal, for after ejaculation, your testosterone level decreases immensily, thus resulting in your body and mind not wanting anything associated with s*x. Once your testosterone level has gone back to normal or a little higher, you'll want s*x again. Hope this helps.

  17. this is very normal especially in teenage boys.
