Question:

After getting financial aid, about how much can I expect to pay for an online school?

The online school I'm considering costs $330 per unit which means it's almost $1000 for each class. I know it all depends but I was wondering if anyone had a general idea.

My tuition fees at my current community college have all been waived and my parents' annual salary is fairly low. It's not low enough to qualify for low-income programs but it's right on the verge of that. Any idea at all (estimates or ranges) on how much I might have to pay for each class?

  1. For  a small donation to support my time, i will teach you anything you are qualified to learn, and do it for the experience and the small fee. i will do it online, and i assure you, you will be successful, before you are finished.

At this time, i am not set up to recieve payments, but i could be , if i generate enough interests. I have a system, i call "I TEACH (it)/I LEARN (it)! It is the most awesome thing i have ever seen and it works absolutely. All my practical experience tests are actual  personal experiences  in your field.

It is not because i know everything, it is because  i am a "TEACHER"!

  2. It sounds like you have already figures it out with, "it's almost $1000 for each class".  Not really sure why you don't understand this.  The loans you receive will not change the amount charged for the class.

    EDIT:

totally "on line" schools are there only for profit.  The cost exceeds what a poor person like yourself would get to cover the normal cost to go to school.  If I were you, I'd get your associates, then transfer to a state school nearby.  It will be about 10 times cheaper than the on line one and most of them offer the majority of the classes on line.

Grants to pay for school include the PELL (which I assume you are already getting) and state grants.  Apply at http://fafsa.ed.gov  Be aware the Pell grant is the same no matter the cost of the school.  So a 4000 pell grant goes a lot farther at paying tuition and books and fees at a community college than at a private or for profit on line school where you still owe 6000 after the Pell is applied.

Hope this answers your question.. if not... Post another!!  Its a holiday!
