One of my best friends just had her gallbladder removed. What should I give her to eat? (I know that she shouldn't eat anything that consumes too much fat, oil, and grease)

----But please give me examples what dishes will help her heal and feel painless.

----Also, what beverages should she drink that will not give her an upset stomach.

Please, if you can, give me a list of what she should eat/drink

--and/or

a list of what she should not eat/drink.

Thanks so much for answering this question. I hope that she heals quicky and will be healthy again.

Take care.

  1. You should not eat foods like cereals, whole grain breads, broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower after a gall bladder surgery. You should not eat spicy foods after gall bladder surgery since they produce a lot of gas which may cause discomfort. You should eat liquid foods because they dont load the digestive system.
