After having two children one year apart my body just does not look the same.

What are some good exercises I can do with my children or when my children are sleeping. I am also looking for some good healthy meals to eat that will help me to quickly get back in shape.

  1. You'd be surprised how much walking will help. If you live in a suitable walking area, walk everywhere you can. The store, the library, wherever you need to go. I know this isn't possible in all places you can live but hopefully you can find a way. As for when they're sleeping, maybe you can jog on one of those little trampolines while you watch TV, I used to do that. Eating food without high-fructose corn syrup (soda, baked goods, sweetened juices, etc.) will also go a long way. That stuff is so bad for you it's unbelievable, just Google it. Read labels and avoid all foods and drinks that contain it. The other thing to avoid is any kind of hydrogenated or partially hydrgenated oil in the ingredients of everything you buy. Reading labels will be important for you as you also never want to feed this stuff to your kids either.

I would buy a pilates dvd, and when the kids are in bed pop it in and do it.  After I had my son thats what I did.  Iwaited until he was asleep and did pilates 4 times a week and walked for 45 mins- an hour 5 times a week.  You can take the kids with you for walking. As for meals, just try to do portion control.  Eat slower and stop when you are full.
