After holiday shopping?

okay, i dont usually go shopping until the holidays are over, and the crowds have calmed down. But this year i have family coming to town and we want to go to the mall while they are here so i was wondering about how crowded is the mall on new years day.?

The malls are busy like any Saturday, but they arent as bad as before Christmas shopping!

you have to remember that people will still be exchanging things (christmas gifts that didn't fit or using their gift cards).  That means more people than normal in the mall.  Most people are off on new years day (federal holiday) which means even more people will be at the mall than usual.  To answer your question, "YES" the mall will be very busy that day....but hey, on the bright side there will be a lot of sales!!
