After how long of wearing specs in one eligible to wear corrective contact lenses?

i am 15 and a half and have got speacs a month back..my power is minus three in one eye and 2.25 in the other eye...kindly advice..accurately

I never wear glasses because as soon as I found out that I had to wear them, I use contacts.

it doesnt matter ive been using glasses for 2 years just to read the board at school and i change to contacts.

you can change and use contacts anytime you desire

The eligibility depends more on responsibility and funding.

The risk for eye infections and other problems goes up with a careless attitude.

It's a bit like having a pet...  Nice idea, but you've got to keep them clean and look after them even on the days you don't feel like it.

... And somebody's got to be prepared to pay for them.

You will still need back-up glasses.

Occasionally the eyes rule themselves out as candidates for contacts, but that's rare, with all the modern lens options.
