After how many days of taking your sugar pills on yaz are you supposed to start your period? ?

I am 23 years old and have been off bc for about 5 years now. This is my first month back on it and i'm taking Yaz. i just started taking the sugar pills yesterday, and i was wondering how many days it takes usually to start your period??

When starting a new birth control, regardless of the brand or type of hormone used, it will take your body up to three months to adjust. During those three months, you can expect breakthrough bleeding, abnormally heavy or abnormally light periods or total lack of a period. If you're still having these problem after the three months, it's time to try something else. Hope this helps. Take care.

some people get theirs right away and others take 2, 3 , 4 days sometimes so it depends on you and your body and you'll learn to know again once you've been on it for a while
