After i find an engagement ring, How should i propose?

After i find a ring and buy it how should i propose? How do i find out my lover's ring finger size without giving away the surprise?

You can find out about her ring size either by using another ring of hers that she wears on the opposite hand or by wrapping a string or piece of paper around her finger when she is sleeping and marking the size.  Once you have the ring, just find a personal moment between the two of you and tell her how you feel and ask her.  It doesn't have to be a spectacle, just make it genuine.

I think you should take her to a nice bed and breakfast and ask her to marry you. Maybe you can have the room setup with champagne and roses and put the ring on napking as a napkin holder. All engagment rings come in the standard size of 7 i believe and when shes ready she can take it in and have it cut down to her size. this will save you all  risk of her finding out that you borrowed her ring to get it checked for her size...Good Luck..:)

Measure the finger using a piece of string while she is asleep. Bring the string (marked) to the jeweler.

Method of proposal is to each couple, but make it about the two of you, not a public spectacle (my viewpoint). Maybe at a special place, at sunset.

Hail! Kidd King Koopa! A good question and problem, keeping a secret without telling any fibs. Several things come to mind; tell her mom (if there is) or close relative of her. Ask about her finger size without letting the cat out of the bag. Have the jeweler make the ring. Then find out what she best likes to do for entertainment and what event she wants to attend. When you have all that information take her for an evening date and get to that event as a surprise. A plus would be if the event was where they had a big picture screen like at a sports game then have them post your proposal on the screen for the world to see. She can't refuse you then when it is so romantic.

Doesn't she have any rings laying around?  You don't want to be caught in the Jewel Box. Try asking a family member or close friend to help you out with obtaining the ring size they know how to finesse her, which I'm sure you do too but you might be to obvious.  Another thing you might try is  playing with clay, even make it sensual (not sexual), once you have that part of the clay with the ring finger fully engulfed in it take the clay mold away discreatly while distracting her and start up with a new piece of clay or molding or wax.  Any of these are a possibility. Congradulations and good luck.   Proposing?  Do it on one knee or on a white horse which ever is your cup of tea.  Bungy jumping or on a wildlife Safari.
