Question:

After i got my cast off my hand started growing hairs what is this a sign of?

at first i didnt notice but then after a nap i noticed gorilla hairs on me!!!!!what do i do?is it a bad sign?

  1. thats actually normal, but don't freak out about it, the hairs will fall out very soon

    They have been starved from oxygen being under the cast, so they thrived as the new cells and bone regenerated- its also a sign of good circulation.

    It's normal, dont worry! Im not sure if they will go away, so if they are still there in 2 weeks, just clip them.

    No prob, trust me. Just dont shave them, they will grow back thicker!

  3. Due the the warm and moist environment that casts seem to bless us with, hair tends to grow very fast. If you look at anyone, they have thin hair on their hands too. You're not a freak I promise! You could shave it, but waxing or a depilatory such as Nair would be a better bet.

  4. It is perfectly normal once your cast has been removed the hair gets a lot of air and now that there is no restriction from the cast your blood flows much better making the hairs grow. This is normal and these hairs will fall off but I recommend just shaving them. Good luck.
