My friend (Indian) had been in Japan for more than 8 years as an over stay, after that He was arrested and deported back to India with stamp on the passport.

He has got married with Japanese lady after he went back to his country.

Now my friend stays in India working and pursuing MBA, and his wife stays in Japan as Japanese immigration still not allows to stay my friend back to Japan.

In the current situation or in case the Japanese immigration allows him to stay in Japan as spouse of Japanese..

If they are willing to live in third country except in India or Japan, are they eligible for the work permit?

If they are willing to travel in third country.. like Canada, Europe etc, is it possible?

All answers should be considered that my Indian friend has got stamped of deportation on his passport.

Please kindly advise.

  1. Well wot i can tell you the best that a passport that contains a stamp saying you are removed / deported from a any country will make your chance of traveling abroad almost impossible. Well the best thing if there is any that your friend can do is to just ask her wife to appeal to the immigration authorities within the framework of the law which again seems very tedious task in your friend's case. best of luck.

  2. The Japanese will not let him back and many other countries, as soon as they find out that he was illegal in Japan, will not allow him to even visit, let alone work.  He can try and get a visa to a third country but it will be difficult.
