After market heat unit only 2 radio stations

Question

I have an after market head unit kenwood excelon ddx7015 and have all the connections made. I only get 2 radio stations on AM and FM..

I have the antenna hook up..

Any Ideas Ty

Check to make sure that you don;t have the unit set to "local". Check the owners manual to see how to turn it on and off.

Before you tear your car apart to see where the bad spot is in the cable that runs to your antanna, try getting a cheap universal replacement antenna at a parts store and seeing if the reception improves, that or try the fm1 fm2 fm3 selector on your deck.  my excelon 990 has this and doesn't find much on 2 and 3
