We've moved across the country and now my dog is peeing in the house, he knows to go the the door and bark, sometimes he won't even try he'll just pee in the room right in front of us, with out even going to the door, and the cat has started peeing in baskets of laundry... Are they rebelling for moving? We've been in our new house for two months now. How do I get them to stop this.

  1. they are marking their new territory once they are satisfied they will stop but try going back to basics with them in regards to toilet training so they dont get into the habit of doing it in the house.

  2. If they are peeing in the same places over and over again, place their food where they are peeing.  That should help a little.

The main problem is that they are trying to mark there area, new house, new smells and all that.

Placing the food there will stop them peeing there as they dont like to mess the areas they eat.  That is nature.

    Hope this helps.
