I had the operation 4 days ago and my fingers are all numb and tingles, also I get the "electric shock" feeling on the side of my arm when I touch it and the feeling goes right to my elbow, and my hand is really swollen and fingers are all stiff.

Also the palm of my hand is also all bruised...

is this normal?

  1. i had CTS surgery on both hands ..and thats a normal reaction..at least thats what my doc told me..they said its basically the nerves "coming back to life" after having been operated are..the swelling will go down and so will the stiffness...my doc sent me to Physical Therapy..you shud ask about that..good luck

  2. You have way more healing to do....give it 6 weeks......all is normal for now.
