I have set up a time to take the asvab with my local air force recruiter for tomorrow. My question is after i take the test, when will i be given my scores and when will they give me a list of open jobs based on my score. Will they give me a list of all open jobs i can have based on my score or only a few?

  1. Dude first off all the Air Force is the ****, Congrats man on wanting to join. Check this out, listen to my every word, It doesnt matter what they show your or not if you know you can get that job don't sign unless they give you the job you want you can come back later, oh and if your unsure about what you want as in a job, a smart person would only get a job if the A-School is in Pensacola Florida, Corry Station. Only a smart person. If your not smart and want to make less money when you get out don't go there. plus don't be dumb and sign up without a C-School or bonus in your contract, If you sign up without those two in your contract I feel sorry for yah dog. I would take what I just said very seriously, but only a smart person would.

  2. I take the ASVAB tomorrow as well, for the army though.

  3. Okay, sometimes when you take your ASVAB you get the score right away, unless the machine is broken or something.

If you are doing the paper test, your recruiter will be able to get a list of all the jobs you qualify for.

If you are heading to MEPS to take this test, the classifier will have a list and see ALL the jobs you qualify for. You will be able to see this, just ask them.

You don't have to pick one then and there, you can go home and go back up there once you look more into the jobs you want.

Don't let the ASVAB score get you down, the line scores are what matter so don't worry if you're not good in one section of it but are good in the rest.

    Good luck!
