After my car's warranty expired, the motor "crashed". What are my legal options??

There are no legal options if an event occurs after the warranty has expired. That is why there are hundreds of phone calls( spam ) advising the catastrophes which may happen if you don't extend the warranty. You just happen to be one of the unfortunates.

I've always purchased an extended auto warranty for every vehicle I've owned in the last 9 years.  I used to get them from the dealer, but lately it's cheaper to get them from a auto warranty company. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Warranty... legal option is you have the choice of what kind of new motor or used motor you want to replace with and who does the job.. i dont get it if one has a warranty on any porduct and it expired then that means its no longer any good unless you want to make a paper air plane out of it..  Verb form expired

I suggest checking your warranty book carefully. When my warranty was up, my transmission and engine were leaking and I had power train coverage still. Also, sometimes, a dealer will grant you a courtesy fix. Don't give up. For the motor to have crashed, there may have been something else wrong prior or something missed. Dig in a little and persuade a good person to give you help by doing warranty work.
