  1. you havent given any details on what the interview was for so how can anyone give  you a relevant question to ask.You could ask what is the price of fish, how long is a piece of string, if i travel on bus 46 will it take me past the park etc.

Go on, give us a clue!

  2. You don't indicate if you asked any or a lot of questions during the interview; if not, that is not a good sign as she will take it that you are not really interested in the job; bad news is if she asked and you didn't immediately respond, you probably have already been eliminated from the running of candidate for the position.

You don't indicate what industry you are applying for, as that would help in coming up with questions as it would a waste of your time and hers to ask questions that are not pertinent to the position.

In general, you want to ask what a typical day in your position is like, who you have to work for and what their background is, how many people do you work for, what are your primary duties and what skills are needed (then sell your skills), what are the work hours and how much overtime,  if any is required and is overtime seasonal or in spurts, etc.

Disagree with the above poster about asking anything about health benefits or vacation unless you are offered the job; that would the the appropriate time to ask that question then make your decision.

  3. If you have their e-mail address I would recommend you just send a brief polite message. A follow up is always beneficial. You could only say-thank you for the opportunity to interview with your company, it was a pleasure speaking with you, looking forward to hearing from you so we can move forward. Something like that. I hope this is helpful. Or you can call even without a question and say the same thing. That way they would remember you. Good luck!

  4. Did you ask about health benefits and vacation time?
