My legs usually hurt a lot after a run, I'm a new runner. But this time there was very little if ANY pain the next mornng. It was a great run, my best, but I had no pain. Did I not push myself enough or is it a signal to do more? I ran 3 1/4 miles.

  1. You surely need to run some more at a comfortable speed. Every now and then stop and do some toad hop or some stretches. You will feel that way for close to two weeks and after that you need to go to another level of exercise if that is what you want to do.

  2. You're probably starting to condition your muscles. The more you run and exercise, the less it will hurt. I think you ran a really good amount. Also, if you stretch well before you exercise, your muscles won't hurt as bad. You should be able to tell during and after the run if you had a good workout or not.
