After overdosing does your body resist pills?

i used to [and very occasionally still do] self-poison by taking small overdoses of pills and i have found recently that i cant take gelatin capsules (which i included in the ODs) because i feel physically sick after taking just 1, i never used to have any problem taking them. i guess i just want to know if my body is resisting the pills because i was taking them in excess and harming myself or if it is something else.

  1. your body would have learnt to reject the pills when you overdosed. by taking a large amount that affects your body, your body will recognise what pill you used, (in this case the gelatin tablet) and form an intolerance of it. sometimes like with alergies, like wheat or dairy, you can have a lot o fit then suddely become alergic to it
