I noticed that the bike has a knocking sound now. something as if a small piece of metal may be turning loose in the engine rotating. The bike runs fine. The knocking seems to be intermitent too at times. I know my valves needed to be adjusted. Some people say pulling the throttle that hard may have unstuck the valves on the bike. What can be the likely reason for this sound?

  1. take the bike to the dealer and let them

    check it out.

  2. Get a strong magnet and put it on the bottom of your oil pan. If it is metal, it will stick there until you change the oil. (which should be ASAP)

  3. if it runs fine its problebly not ur valves. you using the right type of fuel... could be detonation
