After rupturing a tendon in my foot, my knee has started to give way on me?

I walked on my hurt foot for a good length of time after being told it was just a sprain. I went to physical therapy for a good two months and my foot is doing amazing. However, my knee is getting worse and i have lost range of motion and the back and sides feel like they are on fire. Doc said it was patellar femoral syndrome. Is what I'm feeling normal?

  1. What you are feeling is actually due to the fact that injuring your foot has changed your gait, that is the way you walk. All that stress is now going into your knee and is causing problem there. I would visit a chiropractor who specializes in sports injuries to get everything realigned again, and this will most likely lessen or even resolve the pain.
