After setting a reputation at Romford race track Eden Star the Romford Track Record Holder shines again

Winning the race is not the only goal for B Draper’s young champ, Eden Star. This time, he has not only been successful in winning the purse, but with immense speed he covered the distance in a very less time which helped him in setting a record at the Romford
racing track.
Eden Star who placed himself in the Romford Puppy Cup Semi-Final after finishing second in the Heats will now be known as the Romford Track Record Holder.
The black and white dog has not only proved himself as a real champ, but he has also verified B Draper as a terrific trainer.
The 400 meters race welcomed Eden Star from trap 3. As the doors flew up and released the 6/4 ideal of the race, without wasting time, the speedy hound proceeded promptly through the lot of hounds.
Gradually he placed himself in the mid position and eventually he was at the lead. Till he got hold of the wire, B Draper’s two-year-old warrior remained at head start, covering the distance in 23.34 seconds to finish first along with setting a new record.
Slick Santiago, who got defeated by 10 whole lengths, tragically faced hard luck the whole time.
Even though K R Allsop’s young hound initially had quite an impressive pace, later on, he got bumped in twice by ¾ and 4 lengths, which not only broke his flow of speed, but it dragged him very far from his target.
The 3/1 favourite took 24.14 seconds to cover the required distance and cross the wire for K R Allsop.
The hound who managed to finish third in the event was 7/2 favourite, Kilelton Anni, vanquished by ¾ lengths, owing to the factor that she got bumped in twice by ¾ and 4 lengths.
S A Cahill’s two-year-old crossed the finish line in 24.20 seconds.
As she got hold of the wire, Offshore Rebel, trained by P J Simmonds, was 1 ¾ lengths behind her.
The blue dog managed to finish fourth in the race. Due to his sluggish and lazy pace, he could not cope up with the level of speed in contention, taking 24.34 seconds to reach the wire.
The 7/1 favourite, who was a neck behind Offshore Rebel, was Millroad Scolari.
The blue dog came fifth in the race for trainer E Mcnair. The trap 6 runner got baulked by 1 length and unfortunately, he could not help himself to get through the hassle, crossing the wire in 24.37 seconds.
The last hound who confirmed his position as sixth was Guinness Bandit. The black dog suffered from the same tragic situation as Millroad Scolari.
While he was chasing the lure, he severely got baulked by 1 whole length, which made him vanquish by 5 ¾ lengths.
S A Chill’s hound managed to cross the wire in 24.83 seconds.
The night turned out to be a blessing for the fortunate trainer, B Draper, and his hound, Eden Star, who has given him a reason to push the boat out.
