After having an o****m my baby moves a bunch - even if he's had a relatively lazy day. Are the contractions bothering him? Does this happen to anyone else?

I know this question has the potential to attract a lot of rude answers - so if you want to leave one don't bother...

  1.      My son kicked a lot when I had s*x, mostly in my 3rd trimester. Its only natural.

  2. yes its normal.

  3. he probably just like the rythmic motion and when you were done he wants you to keep rocking him,

  4. Usually when babies move, it's because the enjoy something.

And from what I hear, babies find the rocking motions from s*x very comfortable. I'm sure he likes the soothing moving.

I doubt it bothers him :)

  5. hahaha the opposite happened to me. my baby would be "rocked" to sleep, but hours later she'd be moving around, i think to get me to do it again!

its fine, your baby probably enjoys the motions. but if it becomes painful, consult your dr

  6. It is natural for the baby to move when the mother feeeels good feelings.  Whenever I was near my sons father he would kick a whole lot more than normal.  If the baby didn't move after an o****m I would be worried.

  7. That's totally normal! The contractions are just waking him up a bit, it's kind of like a amusement park ride for him. It doesn't harm him in anyway, only if you are having a normal pregnancy. If you are at risk for premature labor (having a premature birth in the past) then you probably shouldn't have any orgasms. If you have a normal pregnancy, then rock on!!

  8. thats what happens to me too...

    dont worry about it.

  9. My Midwife told me that having s*x and having an o****m actually is soothing to the baby. so I wouldn't worry about it. If you're really worried maybe just mention it to your Dr/Midwife at your next appointment.

  10. My baby is just the opposit.  I think s*x puts him to sleep, but all babies are different. If he is moving then I would assume everything is just fine.

  11. I experience something simular.

After s*x i get some pains and my baby moves a little bit but i have no idea why it happens i guess its the moving during s*x.

I've spoken to a few female friends of mine who have been pregnant and they have experieced things simular.
