After showing fine two weeks ago, videos on Youtube will no longer play on my computer?

It's just a white space, instead of any video being there.

I have to have adobe flash, or whatever is needed,

because it played just fine just two short weeks ago.

What could possibly be the issue?

yeah  you said it  you need to install adobe flash player or adobe shockwave player

go to www.adobe.com and click on adobe flash player icon

What browser are you using?

Internet Explorer and Firefox rarely have such problem. But previous versions of Opera do have probelms with Flash(specifically, .flv, which is the format of youtube videos).

1. Reinstall Flash Player from Adobe.

2. If the above still doesn't work, reset your web browser. Just search on how to reset it.

3. If videos still don't show up, probably registry errors. Download a registry program. There are free ones. Just search for them and you'll find.
