Hi I have a question that I need help with.

I'm on a C1-D visa working on a cruise ship. I'm signing off the ship in Sept out of the port of New York. I would like to remain in NY for 10 days before retiring home.

Can I remain in NY with an I-95 received from the Immigration after signing off the ship,as stated on the I-95 I'm authorised to stay upto 29 days.

I also have a B1-B2 VISA. Can this help to prolong my stay in any way?

  1. I don't get it. If the I-95 says 29 days, what's the problem with 10?

    The I-95 trumps all visas.
