I have terrible spider veins that hurt. Any way to treat them? Any medication that's over the counter? Would daily hot baths work?

  1. When your standing there in one spot move your toes and feet a bit that helps a bit.

  2. Hot baths INCREASE blood flow, so no...Wear support hose or TED hose as soon as you get up--the action of the squeezing pushes the blood flow up your legs, instead of just pooling.  The way the veins push the blood up the legs are muscles squeezing (as you walk, jump, run, etc), if they aren't milking any longer, you  may need some

hose.  But the best thing for circulation is exercise...start by walking for 30 minutes (or 5, whatever you can do), then increase it gradually so you maintain an  increase in respiratory rate, but you are not out of breath..keep this up and you will be RUNNING before long..Your whole body will be saying...AHHHH  Good bye aches and pains....
