After taking the toefl exam..do u have to take anymore exams to get a student visa for USA?

my friend in egypt is getting ready for his Toefl exam..he wants to come to USA so he is trying to get a student visa..but is there any more exams he has to take..or anything else he has to do to get a student visa..plz help..much appriciated

Although it is bit lengthy procedures but one should follow the same systematically: Shortlisting a few schools - depending on area/location, course and cost. Download Application Forms and send back the same with all relevant documents and fees. Crack TOEFL & SAT, the results of which will be sent directly to your desired schools. Higher the scores, higher the chances of getting better schools.

Most schools require a 500 or above in order to qualify for acceptance.  Beyond this are a LOT of additional requirements depending upon the the home country and the school he chooses to attend.  www.ice.gov has a lot of great info on the F-1 process.  The I-20 is also a critical document along with an I-94.  You can do searches based on the above info and make sure to contact the school in the US he wants to attend.  They can be the step by step guide and are the ones to ultimately approve the I-20.  Let me know if you need more help.
