Where are we going to play him???

This year Micah has hit for a .362 average, 25 homers, 34 doubles, and 100 RBIs.

The problem here is that he is a corner Infielder which means he can play 3rd or 1st. But with Rami and D-Lee being there I see no possible opportunity for him to play.

  1. He might not be able to start, but he's a great weapon to have off the bench. I'd rather have him up at the plate over Daryle Ward.

  2. Unless he's a remarkably good fielder at first or third, I would imagine he could be placed in Right instead of Fukudome. It will take some time, but he'll get it.

  3. He may get a spot start in the OF & at 1st here & there until (hopefully) the Cubs have got a playoff. then you may see Lou rest D Lee alittle more. until then just look for an occasional pinch hit

  4. Just as a pinch hitter or in the World Sieries a DH

i liked him wen he was in the majors and now he is again.

  5. I don't think he will be starting at 1st or 3rd anytime soon but I do think he will be put in as a pinch hitter or maybe as part of a double switch.  He won't be playing too much in Right either because even though Fukudome isn't doing so great at the plate, we can't not have him in the field.  He has made so many great defensive plays and we need his defense.  But Micah will be put in somewhere with his stellar numbers.  Lou will find room for him somewhere.

  6. He will pinch hit and relieve Lee and Ramirez in the field, occasionally, down the stretch.

I think Lou will want to give Lee and Ramirez a few more days off to rest up for the playoffs.

  7. I think the only way that Hoffpauir can play is on off days and as a pinch hitter. Unfortunate, the guy is a monster.

  8. GO CUBS

    CHICAGO BABY!!
