After the NBA Finals debacle, LeBron James Still Keeps Faith in God, : NBA Update
Even after losing the National Basketball Association’s Championship, LeBron James still keeps faith in God. He left a message on a social media website stating, “The Greater Man upstairs know when it's my time, Right now isn't
the time.” This message has created a stir among the basketball lovers and especially James’ loyal fans, who see it as a rather sudden and quite response from the Miami Heat’s superstar.
The Heat were defeated by the Dallas Mavericks 105-95 on Sunday night at American Airlines Centre in Miami. James failed miserably in the finals and failed to live up to his reputation of a game changer. Instead the laurels went
to a certain Dirk Nowitzki, but LeBron James still has not lost hope.
His intentions and attitude after the fiasco, really tells all and one thing is for sure that he will be more lethal and hungrier in the coming seasons. James came to South Beach only for the NBA title. He was the only superstar
there in Cleveland and his team the Cleveland Cavaliers were solely depending upon him to strive forward in the league. Although he tried there for almost seven years, but upon failing time and again, he finally brought his talents to Miami.
His title winning desire was about to fulfil when the Miami Heat qualified for the NBA finals against the Dallas Mavericks. The James factor worked for the Heat throughout the 2010-2011 season, but fell short in the finals. His
performance remained consistent even in the postseason where he along with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade, he thrashed every opponent that came in his way in the playoffs.
Now after the “King James” has lost the most precious prize in the NBA, he certainly showing his modesty towards God and saying these all winning and losing matters are directly involved with God. However James’ were not liked
by many basketball experts. They all are still going gaga as to how James is the one actually responsible for this year’s championship defeat. He is hiding behind the God factor and making all kind of excuses for losing from the Dallas Mavericks in the finals.
Mike Wilbon a renowned commenter in a sports channel critically evaluated James’ comments on Twitter and said, “You control some stuff, and I hope the man upstairs has got bigger things to worry about than NBA games...[James] is
skilled enough, passionate enough, talented enough, to control that, to a great degree, himself...That doesn't strike me well.”
LeBron James’ finals’ series proved a real disaster for him and for the Miami Heat. His average abruptly descended to 17.8 points per game in the finals against the Mavericks. James overall averaged 26.7 points per game in this
season, but his sudden decline of nine points’ proved vital for the Heat. He struggled in all six games against the Dallas Mavericks, who not only won the best of seven series, but eventually claimed their first NBA title in three decades.
