Question:

After the Rep convention, will it be accurate to say that Reps say what they'll do & Dems say how you'll feel?

I swear that Dems have little to say beyond "Elect us and you'll FEEL GOOD (about yourself (for having elected us, of course!), about us, about EVERYTHING (oh, it's going to be SO WONDERFUL!))"

Of course, reality always intrudes but, clearly, denial is the principal arrow in the Dems' quiver. (See: Clinton, William Jefferson, 42nd President of the United States of America, 1993 - 2000 -- best known for his fantastic ability to "compartmentalize" (read: indulge in denial in a way that put him in the top 1/100 of the top percentile))

Oh, HAPPY DAYS are here again, aren't they? Oh, HAPPY, HAPPY! :-))

  1. No, the GOP says, "Be afraid" and "Blame this"

The Dems are saying "Hope for something better".

I would think you would be tired of being afraid.

And it is anti-life not to hope.

  2. You got that one right.

San Francisco is a perfect example. I've never seen or heard of such a "feel good" mentality as what's going on there.

-They give $400 per month to the homeless, but everyone knows that $400 won't even pay for 1 month worth of parking in San Francisco.

-They provide a needle exchange program for intravenous drug addicts, and then they wonder why the rate of HIV/AIDS rises steadily among the homeless.

-They lead the fight to legalize marijuana, and then they want to criminalize plastic bags.

-They kick the ROTC out of their schools, and then complain because of lawlessness and lack of direction among high school youth..

-They claim that enforcing vagrancy and loitering laws are unconstitutional, then wonder why their streets are so filthy.

-They refuse to let families within city limits determine which public school their children will attend, then they wonder why they get a "family un-friendly" reputation.

-They are a "sanctuary city" and then have no explanation for why violent latino gangs are become more and more of a problem there.

-They encourage people to ride bikes, walk, and use public transit, but only Los Angeles has a higher "per capita" rate of limousine services. Yea...take a limo. That'll save gas!

And it's all about "feeling good." Don't judge us by our results...judge us by our intentions.

San Francisco makes even the Berkeley wackoids shake their heads.

  3. Hapy days for the Electoral college and the Super Delegate they are running the real show.
