  1. France are the only 6 Nations team I think will progress beyond the quarter-finals.

  2. France will get to semis.

I also think that Ireland will surprise a few people & maybe just maybe get to the semis as well.

Wales, England, Scotland & Italy will get to Quater Finals but dont think that they will progress any further.

  3. Wales and England may well face each other in the quarter-finals as they should be in the top two of their groups along with Australia and South Africa respectively.

If they face each other then one of them will make it to the semi-finals, but that will be it, unless it ends up being France that they face, as if it isn't them it will be New Zealand!

Ireland and France should top their group, but don't under-estimate Argentina! New Zealand will win their group and second place will be fought out between Italy and Scotland!

The final will probably be New Zealand and South Africa who will beat France and Australia in the semi-finals.

  4. I think France will do well, they have a stronger team, I would like to see Scotland, Ireland and Wales do well, but not getting my hopes up.

  5. Ireland and France have the hardest group, being in with Argentina but whoever tops this group has a very good chance of going all the way to the final (to play New Zealand). Wales and England will get as far as the quarter finals but it's unlikely either can go further. Either Italy or Scotland are going home early, with neither of them having a chance to get passed the quarters.

  6. In the light of the 6 nations, I definitively see Ireland playing it's best world cup. If they play it 100%, they are a potential finalist team. Of course, France is the host nation, and they won the 6 nation. Anyhow, they never worked it out when they were amongst the favourite, so really.... The English side is still a mystery to me. The potential is here, they have some very good players and could be the team that to do it against all odds. Scotland and Wales, no. Italy neuther....

I think we gonna have some very good matches, Argentina may even be the surprise element (after all, they have progressed constantly)

All in all, I can't see any northern team winning the cup. I think the 2 best sides will be Ireland and France, with the first reaching semi-final
