Riding for a few hours? Maybe. How about a few days? I don't know if I would dare close my eyes in a public place after this!

  1. The streets do not have much security either.  Do you not drive because you could be killed by a carjacker?  The overall death rate for persons in a private car is actually much higher than for those on a bus (mainly due to crashes, not homocides).

  2. I understand your concern, but look at it like this - would you ever get in a shower again after watching Physco?

By the same strand - after the Titanic disaster would you ever go on a cruise ship again?  I think you get the idea.

  3. Yes, I will still ride Greyhound (if I have to). I understand that you don't feel as safe as you did before (I don't either), but not everyone is going to cut your head off while you are sleeping. It could have happened just as easily on any other bus or train (or street corner), but I would watch out for people and what they are doing though.

  4. sure. people are killed on the road everyday and you still go there don't you<

  5. yes, although I have not and will not close my eyes in a public place, unless i am travelling with someone who will be awake,as always for me at least I am from fort lauderdale...

  6. NO

those d**n canadians better do something about this.  like tear his limbs off (make sure he's alive after) and toss him in the middle of the ocean.  let him suffer

why would anyone do this anyways.

    its fox.. c'mon

  7. I dont nor have never rode a greyhound bus but you know that some people just loose their heads everyday for no reason....

  8. I wouldn't ride a Greyhound unless my only other option was walking (and I'd probably try hitchhiking first).  But I've always felt that way about it.  More uncomfortable than flying and you're trapped with the people for a longer period of time.  Gets my claustrophobia going.

Then again, people get killed all the time.  Not too long ago, several people were gunned down randomly at a Wendy's restaurant in Florida.  Yet I have no problem going to a Wendy's.  Stuff happens, you just gotta keep the "news" from making you paranoid.
