  1. London is already an amazing city. They were planning on spending 20 billion dollars on making it even better. That's half of what Beijing spent. Although that number might go up after seeing how incredible Beijing looks. The Brits definitely can outdo China but I’m not sure if there is a point. They don't really need to prove anything to anyone. On the other hand, they might have a feeling of, "look, we're still here, don't forget us!" which might cause them to try to outdo China. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I'm real curios about 2016. Will it be Chicago, Madrid, or Tokyo? (no way Rio de Janeiro will win) I really hope Chicago wins since that's where I’m from, but I honestly think it will be Madrid or Tokyo.

  2. They will come out with several Gold medals.

  3. It will be hard to top what China did!

  4. Number 1 nightmare for Britain will be security as the population of British moslems within is significant. Barring this, I expect England to call upon the Scots, the Irish and the Welsh people to put their best cultures on display on behalf of Britain - the English? Oh they can forever blow bubbles.

  5. I am sure they can't do much worst then China did.

  6. I'm sure they'll come up with more creative stuffs.... So long as it's creative, it'll be appreciated

  7. Great Britain can do what Chinese did... bring back the remarkable history. The massacre of the Native American. The Red Coats getting whooped by U.S.... all of that! lol

    JUST KIDDING!

I'm sure British can come up with something that's great. No that was not a sarcasm.

  8. I think London will put on a good show, but I don't think anyone will ever try to top what China has done.  China is so bent on getting the focus away from their questionable practices such as Tibet, pollution, etc. that they felt they had to show the world something positive and good can come from China.  In my opinion, it was all for naught.  Those of us who are appalled by their violation of human rights are not going to forget it simply because they put on a spectacular opening ceremony show.  I admit it was awesome, but I still remember the Tibetans.

The Brits don't have to overshadow anything like Tibet, so they aren't going to feel obligated to top China.  China spent 5 times the amount of money on the games as Greece did four years ago.  They may have gone a little too overboard.
