Do you think should he retire from being C.E.O. of F1 and replace him with a more capable person who can bring back F1 here in the U.S.? It would be such a big waste of money for IRL big guy Tony George of adding a track just for F1 and maybe Moto GP and not have the race there after Canada. F1 Fans Unite!!!

  1. Bernie has some faults but axing the US GP was not one of them. F1 was not very popular in the US esp after the 2005 incident. If the people there are not interested in F1, then it shouldn't be held there. Americans are more interested in NASCAR than anything. Plus, Indy is not a very good location and track safety has always been questioned. So it made sense to drop the race from the calendar to fit in a new venue.

There are plans to bring back F1 to the US. But it would be a street race in Las Vegas apparently. We'll have to wait and see if it works out

  2. julian lmao !

  3. More capable than Bernie? Good luck with that... He might be old but he knows how to do his job. Bernie wants money for F1 because they already spend lots of money on GPs that don't give them any profit. F1 is not popular enough in the USA and Tony George didn't help at all. Bernie made it clear he wanted to have a race with a promoter that actually makes the F1 race look like the most important race of the year, Tony George was more worried about the 500 and advertised it more. Obviously if there is a circuit owner and promoter that is capable of making the race popular and to earn a profit with that for F1 then F1 will return to the US.

  4. no way!he is the boss with B of f1!!!but i agree with you!the us gp deserve to have the honour of having one f1 gp a year, more than turkey, china, bahrain or singapore has!f1 is comercial now:((but what about austria, imola, germany to have 2 rounds, portugal,or argentine(south america),because f1 is european in most of the  most!

  5. When the US comes up with a desent track that isn't in the middle of nowhere F1 will come back.

  6. Mosley must go first. As for the USGP thing, well, Tony George and the US racing association's attitude is a real turn off man. F1 doesnt need US, US needs F1. Its really insane to expect US to give F1 so much thought when the unemployment rate is at an all-time high ! They need to do something about that first, instead of blaming gud 'ole Bernie.

  7. 1. If there is someone more competent than Bernie anywhere in the world of business, I'll be really surprised. However being amazing at making money should not be the most important part of his job description.

    2. Bernie should be replaced for the good of F1's soul... but his treatment of the USGP organisers is the very least of his sins against the sport.

    3. Indy is an awful F1 venue. How can we expect americans to get excited about F1 if all they can ever see live happens on a mickey-mouse track like that? Get Road Atlanta and Watkins Glen up to F1 standards and you can have 2 races a year, until they're ready let's all go back to Long Beach for a few years.

  8. Yes he is to old and i hate his attitude, he is set in his old ways they need somebody who is younger and has fresher ideas.
