  1. This is my grandmother..  Mrs..  x*x a widow is always a Mrs.. she won't become a Ms because her husband died.. that's different from divorce.. if she loses her husband through death she is always Mrs...xx and the married name...

  2. yes, you do  not change the introduction unless requested to by the person themselves.

    It is totally okay to say, "I'd like you to meet my grandmother, Sylvia Weston"...

  3. Yes.  She is a widow but that doesn't mean she changed her name.  Most people who were married and their spouse passed away don't change their name.  I would introduce her as Mrs. so-and-so and if she did change her name, she wouldn't be offended whatsoever.

  4. Of course... unless she is remarried or prefers to be introduced as something else.  Your grandfather's death does not negate your grandmother's status as his widow.

  5. Yes. Your grandmother will be Mrs. {Grandfather's last name} for the rest of her life unless she remarries or decides she wants to be called something else such as:

    Ms. {Grandfather's last name}

    Miss {Grandmother's maiden name}

    Until she tells you otherwise, you should introduce her as Mrs. {Grandfather's last name}.
