After tonights game, is the cubs offence back at all?

they did only get 2 er off of c.c. i think i dont think that error with weaks wered ER's but after that they put it up to score 2 off a good brewers bullpen. is this a sign for the cubs at all?

I can't say it is "back" for sure but Brenly brought up the point yesterday that they are being more patient at the plate, running counts and drawing more walks -- something they had gotten away from right after the all-star break. Runs will start following when you have that type of approach.

If the Cubs could walk away with a split I would be really happy.

not only did they hit well, they did it against sabathia, as well as late in the game.  I actually thought their slump was ending a couple games back, but i think they are back to a normal pace.

it was a good game by them no doubt but there are still 3 more games in this series.

Brews gave up too many easy plays. Tomorrow will be better.
