I go in for a pap and my obgyn and I are going to talk about not being able to concieve over the year. I have irregular periods but I know that I ovulate (Opk's). She said something about Clomid. But if I ovulate will she still think about putting me on that? I know my husband will have to get a s***n test also. What kind of testing do you think I'll get that day I go in for my pap? Or how long do you think the testing process will take? Months?

  1. I had the same problem with my first. On birth control for many years. My doctor prescribed Clomid and I got pregnant the following month. Make sure you follow the directions. I took one pill every day for five days. This was many years ago so it may be different now. My doctor said if it hadn't worked a s***n test for my husband would have been next.

  2. They will send hubby for a s***n analysis...they may send you for a HSG to see if you have any blockages.  They may give you clomid to be sure that you ovulate, OPK's aren't totally accurate.
