resend itself through my browser after I have eliminated it from my system......I have Yahoo ATT&T....I looked all over for a place to block and coudn't find one...

First of all there a millions of sites that distribute Virtumonde or Vundo.

there isnt just one site that can infect the computer with Vundo

so just to be careful dont visit sites you dont know about

get McAfee SiteAdvisor (its free)

why did u remove java , u need to have the update version of java...

SiteAdvisor wont stop you from going to sites it will warn you about the sites if its safe or bad...most sites that give vundo is crack sites

The simplest way is the following:

Browse to your C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc folder.

Right click the "HOSTS" file, click "Open" or "Open With".

Choose "Notepad".

Scroll down to the bottom line, then press Enter once or twice.

For each site, type the following:

127.0.0.1    site1.com

127.0.0.1    site2.com

et cetera.  Save and exit.

According to Wikipedia, Virtumonde is propagated by exploiting a weakness in Java.  I'd update to the latest version of Java (Version 6 Update 7) and Remove all older versions of it from your system.

To remove them in Windows XP:

1. Click the Start->Control Panel menu item.

2. Click the Add or Remove Programs item.

To remove them in Windows Vista:

1. Click the Start->Control Panel item.

2. Click the Uninstall Program item.

there are like alot of sites that can infect ur pc and idk if u can block'em all so b careful get a good firewall like comodo n u can also use site adviser as ricky stated
