After using Plan B (morning after pill) is this normal..?

Question

I took the pill at 2:30 pm right after I purchased it, then I woke up at 2:30 am and took the second pill. The only side effect I had was a minor headache, but it warned of this. Now, I'm wondering about something else.

I have a lot more vaginal discharge, meaning I'm really "wet." It has an extremely slight brown tint to it, is this normal? Please explain a little bit.

This is normal. Plan B causes your body to produce mucous over your cervix and ovaries to prevent the sperm and egg connecting. It's just doing it's job :)

ive had this before keep on doing the same thing and if u still have problems ask ur dockter

I've taken Plan B a few times before. I also experienced what you're talking about - I got brown spotting shortly after taking the second one. It's normal.

If you experience heavy bleeding that isn't right. The first time I ever took it I threw up after the second one for hours and had to take it again. Some people have no side effects. Plan B is very effective taken shortly after unprotected s*x.

Lots of weird stuff can happen when you take Plan B. You did everything correctly, don't worry.

All I can say, is that you better hope that pill worked, because that discharge is a prime sign of ovulation.  I don't think that pill would cause you to have that type of discharge.  Good luck!
